Welcome to Top Paws. By using toppaws.com (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. What Top Paws is

Top Paws is a directory and classifieds platform that helps people find pet businesses, read and write reviews, discover adoptable pets, post lost-and-found notices, and connect with sellers. Top Paws is not a party to any transaction between users and businesses, sellers, breeders, shelters, or other users. We do not process payments for pets, take possession of animals, or guarantee any listing, transaction, animal, or service.

2. Listings & marketplace

Listings are provided by third parties or aggregated from public data sources. We do not verify the accuracy, legality, health, or availability of any animal or service. Anyone posting a pet for sale, adoption, or rehoming must comply with all applicable federal (including the Animal Welfare Act and USDA/APHIS requirements), state, and local laws, and must hold any required licenses. You must be 18 or older to transact. Prohibited: wildlife/protected species, animals under 8 weeks, puppy-mill sourced animals, and any listing that violates law.

Scam warning: Never pay by gift card, wire transfer, or cryptocurrency. Always see an animal in person or by live video before paying. Top Paws does not process payments or guarantee any transaction.

3. Reviews

Reviews must reflect a genuine, first-hand experience. Fake, incentivized, or undisclosed-insider reviews are prohibited and may be removed. See our Review Policy.

4. Your account & conduct

You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. Don't post unlawful, infringing, harassing, or deceptive content, and don't scrape or misuse the Service.

5. No warranty; limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Top Paws is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, any transaction, or any content. You agree to indemnify Top Paws against claims arising from your listings, content, or transactions.

6. Intellectual property & data

Place data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, used under the Open Database License. Your reviews and content remain yours, but you grant Top Paws a license to display them. To report infringing content, see our DMCA process at /dmca.
