INDY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Indy        Best Guess for Breed:  Corgi mix   Best Guess for Age:  5 years as of July 2026       SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight:  26 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here.   Special adoption considerations:  Indy was rescued from a hoarding situation in South Carolina.  She has not been well socialized with new people and has lived her whole life with other dogs.  New nosies, cars, bikes, and other things may create fear and anxiety.  She will need a patient adopter who can give her time to come out of her shell and learn that the world is a wonderful and welcoming place.  Indy is Looking For:  Her forever home, filled with snuggles and opportunities to see the world! One where she is a cherished part of a family. She's very sweet, and SO ready to be a Real Dog.Extra patient and loving humans who introduce her to new places and people at her pace are exactly what she wants!
