Grimus is a little survivor with a big personality. This dwarf hamster was found abandoned in a park in Philadelphia and brought to safety by animal control. Now he’s ready for a second chance with someone who understands him. Estimated to be around a year old, Grimus is an active, curious guy who especially loves his sand baths, his favorite way to relax and keep clean! He does have a tendency to nip, so he will need an experienced adopter who can read his cues and give him the space and respect he needs. Grimus is looking for a home that can provide a proper, enriching habitat (proof required) where he can feel safe and thrive. If you have hamster experience and a soft spot for the spicy ones, Grimus just might be your perfect match. Proof of proper habitat and supplies a must. Nocturnal and crepuscular: This hamster is most active during the evening and early morning hours, making it a great companion for those who are awake during those times. Very active: Expect your new friend to be highly energetic and playful, especially during its peak activity periods. A hamster wheel, tunnels, and toys will keep it entertained and help it burn off energy. Experienced handler: Due to its energetic nature and occasional nipping, this hamster would thrive in a home with an experienced pet owne
