JULIET NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:   Juliet         Best Guess for Breed:  Australian cattle dog (blue heeler) mix   Best Guess for Age:  2 years as of June 2026       SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight:  30 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   Puerto Rico shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here.   Special adoption considerations:   Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think this pup would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure they can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.   Juliet is Looking For:  If you think this pup is calling "Romeo! Romeo, wherefore are thou?!" - you are way off base. This young sato - a dog from Puerto Rico - couldn't possibly care less about Veronese drama. She's just eager to get her own humans in the DC area for sniffy walks and romps and world exploration!
