MILADY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Milady      Best Guess for Breed:  Lab mix  Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of May 2026         SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight:  34 lbs as of May 2026 - she is still growing!   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   Puerto Rico shelter - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!   Special adoption considerations:   Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. Milady is shy and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog who will help with that socialization process.    Additionally, Milady is a tripod. She does great on three legs (is missing her right rear leg) and gets around wonderfully!   Milady is Looking For: Milady along with her siblings Milee, Marvin, and Melvin, are all satos from Puerto Rico.They came into our care so they could get their own human families in the DC area. Milady is a wonderful sweet young pup who is eager to walk through the world with all the confidence of a well-loved pup!
