Hatch Date: 1990 Early in the month of December, we received an urgent call for help and, without hesitation, we answered. It's been a few short months now and, after some settling in time, we are happy to introduce all to Hojo! Hojo has not had an easy life, but you'd never know it based on her extraordinary resilience, her willingness to trust, and her joyful demeanor. Having lost the only caretaker she has known, all while living in less than ideal conditions- both caged and covered, she continues to blossom into a beautiful and forgiving soul. In April, Hojo was adopted from our Rescue, but was returned two months later, as Hojo didn't like her adoptive father and therefore, was exhibiting some general aggressive behaviors. While two months isn't typically enough time for a bird to fully settle in and accept and understand his/her surroundings, the family felt that Hojo wasn't a good match for their family, so she is back with us now in her new foster home. Hojo has seen way too much change in the last year, so we are looking to ensure her schedule, consistency and reliable long-term placement. Hojo is a 35 year old confirmed Female Blue Fronted Amazon. She is quite petite and dainty for her species, but she possesses the biggest heart. Hojo lives for kisses..and isn't shy about asking for them.
