**Information last updated December 8, 2025** Lettucerockthem A - coming 15 yr old bay off the track Standardbred gelding bred and raced in Australia (that's the A in his registered name)   War horse won 1.2 million before retirement in 2022.   Lettie sticks at 16.1 hands but is BIG bodied and seems larger. Professional-type handlers suit him best, not because he's 'bad' but because he's a professional. He relaxes with competent, horsemen types and is all business. Tack him up and go.  Under saddle, he has zero desire to go fast. Dressage type prospect? Perhaps trails? He does trot even though he's pacing bred and he has a solid start/foundation. He was hacked around bareback in a halter for the year before we got him, so he needs fitness and refresher work, but the more you work, the better he is -- he does know basic collection, leg cues, etc.  He does need clear direction and boundaries - will become an absolute cookie monster if you are that type. General care-type notes for interested adopters: - He is currently barefoot. He had a nasty toe crack develop soon after arrival that we treated and have allowed to grow out naturally. His angles were also a bit off, so we've done some corrective trimming rather than focus on riding refresher. - He did not grow much of a winter coat (heck, it's summer in Australia so he might just never!), so he is wintering with a foster where he can be consisten
