Mira is 5-7yo, weighs 45lbs, is spayed, is up to date on her vaccines, and is microchipped. Mira can sit and stay and guardian was working on crate training until guardian's disability occurred. Mira roams around the house close to her guardians and is left alone at home up to 4 hours per day. At night, Mira sleeps downstairs on the couch or one of the bedrooms. She dislikes/fears strangers coming to the house, especially women. Also, Mira loves car rides. Mira's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome her: Mira's guardian is no longer able to care for her needs. Lunge/Attack Incident: In April 2024, in Pueblo, CO, Mira lunged at the veterinarian; there was no physical contact; animal control was not involved. Mira's guardian explains: "No medical attention was required. Mira can be protective of the house, and the vet was a little too quick to get in her space when she was agitated. She lunged at the vet, but did not hurt her or anyone else." Mira's guardian offers a brief a medical history: "Entropion of the eye, corrected by surgery but might come back. Spayed.
