About Monarch

Small but mighty, Monarch is an introvert. This small mixed breed guy enjoys playing with toys by himself, collecting them into a pile then laying on top of them like a dragon with their treasure. He also loves the company of other small dogs and thrives when he can play and interact with them. He isn't too sure about people and is learning how to interact with us. Monarch takes treats from his regular caregivers and will allow a few chin scratches. He will chase toys thrown for him but hasn't yet grasped the idea of grabbing them and bringing them back to play fetch. With time, a calm environment and a patient owner Monarch has a lot of potential to be a fun best friend! Monarch would do best in a home with another confident, friendly dog to show him the ropes.
