At around three years old, Eddie was surrendered to the Trenton shelter with her walls all the way up and a serious "do not disturb" vibe. We don't know exactly what happened in her previous home, but it was clear that humans hadn't been kind to her. Her defensive, spicy attitude was just her way of protecting herself. But then, Eddie hit the foster jackpot. She moved in with one of our most experienced foster moms and slowly began to realize that she was finally safe.
