Meet Aurora, a beautiful adult tortoiseshell with a two-toned face. This young lady had a tough time on the streets, but in a Forgotten Cats foster home she enjoys the security of constant food, soft blankets, and attention from caretakers. Her unique markings make it hard to resist showering her with affection, but in typical Tortie fashion, Aurora will let you know if she is in the mood for attention or when she's had enough. Her “nips” are just air nips or gentle mouthings to make her point, usually followed by a sassy tail flick. Typical Tortie girl! Her happy place? Getting gentle head scritches between the ears. She’s even getting braver about my hand coming toward her face—slowly but surely, this tortie girl is letting me in. She also enjoys watching TV and looking out the window. She will claim your bed for her own but generously allow you to sleep there, too. When you wake up, she just might give you a
