Refund Policy

We want you to love TopPaws. If a paid feature isn't working for you, here's exactly what you can expect.
Cancel anytime, no fees
You can cancel a Pro or Pro+ subscription whenever you want, directly from the "Manage" button on your Profile page. No phone calls, no awkward retention questions, no penalty.
When you cancel, you keep all Pro benefits until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account drops back to the Free tier and you stop being charged. Your existing creations stay safe.
Subscription refunds
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Because of how monthly billing works, we generally don't issue prorated refunds for partial months — you keep the full month you paid for.
That said, we'll issue a full refund of your most recent charge if any of these apply:
- You were charged because of a clear platform bug (e.g. you tried to cancel and the cancel button didn't work)
- You were double-charged for the same period
- You signed up by mistake and request a refund within 48 hours of the charge, before using any AI generation credits
- A core feature was broken for the entire billing period through no fault of your own
Refund requests outside these reasons are reviewed case by case. We try to be reasonable.
Top-up packs (Video Boosts)
Top-up packs are one-time purchases that add AI video credits to your account permanently. Because credits can be used immediately and don't expire, top-up packs are generally not refundable once any credits from the pack have been spent.
If you bought a top-up pack and haven't used a single credit from it yet, contact us within 7 days and we'll issue a full refund.
AI generation costs
Each AI photo or AI video you generate costs us real money paid to our AI providers. Once a generation completes, that cost can't be reversed. If a generation fails entirely (no output produced), the credit is automatically refunded to your account — you only spend a credit on a successful generation.
If you don't love how an AI generation came out, you can try again with a different style — but we don't refund credits for outputs you simply didn't like. AI is creative; results vary; that's part of the fun.
How to request a refund
Email us through the contact info on the homepage. Include:
- The email address associated with your account
- The date and approximate amount of the charge
- A short description of what happened
We respond to refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method via Stripe and typically arrive within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
Disputes and chargebacks
We'd much rather work things out directly than fight a chargeback. If you have a problem, please email us first — most issues get resolved within a day. Filing a chargeback before contacting us may result in your account being suspended while we work with Stripe to verify the dispute.
Free tier
The Free tier is, well, free — there's nothing to refund. If something on the Free tier isn't working, please report it so we can fix it.
